Key Responsibilities:
- Expand and maintain automated test coverage;
- Contribute to the development and evolution of the mobile test framework;
- Independently design and implement test scenarios for mobile applications;
- Participate in shaping an effective mobile automation strategy across platforms.
What we’re looking for:
- Mobile Automation Experience (iOS or Android): Hands-on experience in at least one mobile automation direction – either iOS (Swift + EarlGrey) or Android (Kotlin + Kaspresso). Candidates with strong skills in one and willingness to expand into the other are welcome.
- Programming Skills: Swift for iOS automation and/or Kotlin for Android automation. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable test code.
- Automation Framework Experience: Experience with EarlGrey for iOS or Kaspresso for Android. Ability to design, develop, and maintain automated test suites and ensure their integration with the application development lifecycle.
- Testing Knowledge: Deep understanding of software testing methodologies. Familiarity with test case management and defect tracking systems (e.g., Allure, TestRail).
- Mobile Platform Expertise:Strong knowledge of either iOS or Android system features, UI/UX standards, and user interactions.
- Continuous Integration:Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions (or similar). Capable of integrating automated tests into the CI/CD process to streamline delivery.
- API and Database Interaction:Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services testing. Basic SQL skills to validate data as part of the testing process.
- Problem Solving and Analytical Skills:Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex issues efficiently. Strong troubleshooting mindset is essential.
- Communication Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, QA engineers, and product managers across mobile platforms.
