Zing Coach is the world’s first AI Fitness Personal Trainer, revolutionizing the way people approach health and wellness. Four years ago, we set out to replace traditional PT sessions with smart, personalized, motivating guidance powered by AI. We are looking for a QA Engineer to help ensure the quality and reliability of the Zing Coach product across mobile, backend, AI-driven features, and partner integrations. This is a hands-on individual contributor role focused on pragmatic testing, release confidence, production issue triage, and driving quality throughout the development lifecycle in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Manually test iOS and Android applications, backend APIs, and web components across B2C and B2B flows.

• Own regression for releases: define scope, priorities what must be tested and ensure critical paths are covered.

• Get involved early in feature discussions: clarify requirements, acceptance criteria, identify edge cases and push for better testability.

• Test AI-driven features (chat, recommendations, CV modules) using structured scenarios and sanity checks, not just happy paths.

• Validate backend behavior: API responses, data consistency, and integration flows.

• Triage production issues and narrow down root causes before involving developers.

We expect that you have

• 3+ years in QA with hands-on experience testing mobile apps (iOS and Android).

• Confidence working across layers: mobile UI, API validation, data consistency checks, basic backend validation.

• Experience with API testing and debugging tools (e.g. Postman, Charles or similar).

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of testing scope.

• Comfort working in a fast release cycle and making trade-offs under time pressure.

• Attention to detail while prioritizing what actually matters for release.

• Clear communication and willingness to push back when something is not right.

• English level B2+ or higher.

Beneficial skills:

• Automation experience is a plus.

• Basic experience using AI tools for testing

• Experience with testing of wearable devices (smart watches)
